Development, innovations and projects
Ostensibly, nothing much has changed to our turfs during the past decades. But appearances are deceptive! Our grass and turfs are under constant development, as is the service we offer to our customers. Our products and service are improved all the time. This is done in close cooperation with producers of grass seeds and fertilisers, with research institutes such as the Netherlands Institute for Soil Science and laboratories for Soil Research and with mechanisation companies.
Meanwhile, we ask ourselves questions all the time. How can we do an even better job concerning the preparing of the soil, seeding and giving care to the grass? How can we do still a better work at harvesting the turfs? How can we improve the treading-tolerance and disease resistance? How can we optimise our logistics even more? With all developments and innovations, one thing is paramount to us: how can we improve the possible benefit for our customers? This is why we came up with new products such as, among other things, the child-friendly Bump Grass, machines for a more precise and efficient harvesting of the turf and the developments regarding customised mixtures of grass.
Projects: Getting the maximum benefit from expertise
Queens Grass core activities are the production of turf and giving advice with regard to its uses. Most of our customers are themselves eminently capable of using our products for creating high-performance fields. On the customer’s request, we can carry out projects ourselves, such as laying out sports-fields, golf courses and parks.
